Solar Thin Film and Laminates: Where it’s Made
There are many rumors out there regarding the production of thin film solar panels designed for metal roofs and most of the rumors are GOOD! Like the fact that they can combine with Metal Roofing to give you a 30% tax credit on the ENTIRE integrated system.
The one issue that I’ve seen come up, is people questioning: “Where is This Stuff Made??” Is it another product of China or is this a real American revolutionary product made here and installed here?!

This product is amazing. Its so efficient and you don’t have to worry about glass breaking because there is none. They stick it onto standing seam metal roofing panels. You can have this installed on your roof by American EcoEnergy, a subsidiary of American Metal Roofs, located in Michigan. Its really great that this product is part of the roof so you don’t have to take it off if you ever put a new roof on.
I gotta say, it’s one of the best improvements I’ve seen in solar in a long time.
