But if you are still looking for an answer…than we suggest either getting an estimate from Global Home Improvement or checking out Remodeling Magazine’s 2010 Cost Vs Value Report where an Upscale Metal Roofing project costs are described as:

“Remove existing roofing to bare wood sheathing and dispose of properly. Install 30 squares of standing-seam metal, formed on site into 16-inch panels using factory-enameled roll steel; double-lock all seams. Use custom brake-bent flashing from same material for drip edge and all flashing at roof-wall intersections. Assume a 5-square hip roof; custom flashing at two average-sized skylights; and custom cap treatment at vented ridge. You can figure a 30 Square metal roof estimate to typically run between $36,000 and $42,000.

The one thing however that we found interesting was the re-sale value and return on investment pricing of metal roofing to be so low when the Metal Roofing Alliance Value Chart says it has 95.5% ROI for the Atlantic Area! Weather you go by the Cost vs Value Report or the MRA, one thing is certain, Metal Roofing has the lowest cost of ownership of any roof product and is the least expensive over time.

When it comes to metal roof pricing expect to pay more money upfront, but to save more money in the long run…
